The Water Damage Committee Team met this evening to discuss status of progress and also discuss how soon we can begin in-person learning. We are very thankful for such a rapid response by the clean up and sheet-rock installation crews. WE WILL OPEN CAMPUS TO RESUME IN-PERSON LEARNING - THURSDAY, February 25!!!
The crews have been working day and night and on the weekend to allow us to open our doors sooner rather than later. The safety of our students and staff and having a functioning building with electric, phones, and internet working properly was the key priority to opening the doors of our school. Also, safety standards of the CDC guidelines are still required for us to implement as a school.
We are so proud of our staff and teachers who are not only doing remote learning right now, but they will be having to "put back" their rooms in a very short period of time. Though we know the situation is difficult, our staff and teachers always give 100% to provide the best for our students and we are truly blessed to have them.
Thank you for your grace, prayers and understanding. After Covid-19 closed the school last spring, to last week’s unprecedented weather, to this flood and extended closure, we understand this can be an added frustration. However, we are also very blessed to have the clean-up and reconstruction being done so quickly in efforts to get us back to our facility as soon as possible. Now we were able to be back within days and avoid moving over 200 students and staff off-site to other locations that would have created logistical as well as liability complications.
Opening and closing times will remain the same as well as Club Warrior. Drop off and pick up will remain the same.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Cissy Haddox. Mrs. Haddox will communicate all of your questions or concerns to the administrative team via email as we transition getting phones back into place. chaddox@christacademywf.org
