Spring VPA Academy Recital

VPA Recital showcases more musicians

Our Visual and Performing Art Academy had its spring recital this past week, showcasing the students’ hard work and musical study from this past semester. Our VPA Academy program has added more instrumental offerings and age ranges, allowing our families to have more Academy options.

We had our first Early Childhood VPA performance on the piano, and we are so proud of how well she did. We are thrilled to have brought back percussion as well! Our VPA Academy students meet weekly with their instructor in private or group lessons throughout the semester for their chosen instrument - piano, guitar, or percussion. At the end of the semester, they choose a piece to perform at the recital in front of friends, family, and other VPA students.

Adding to the evening, each instructor played a favorite piece for the audience, showcasing their talents and abilities. Mrs. Hoover, Mrs. Mikalunas, and, our newest instructor, Mrs. Hargis, showed our CA students what hard work and practice looks like. Our VPA Academies are growing, and we cannot wait to see these performers grow in their skills. Well done, Warriors!
