Christmas Programs
Celebrating Jesus through Music
At Christ Academy, we make Jesus the foundation of our learning, so Christmas is an extra special time of year. This season, we orchestrated not just one, but THREE distinct Christmas programs for different grade divisions to celebrate His birth.
Kindergarten-Grade 2 and Grades 3-5 each held nighttime performances, singing Christmas carols and performing with instruments and props, and Grade 1 even put on a short Nativity play, skillfully directed by our esteemed music teacher, Mrs. Mills. Meanwhile, our Visual + Performing Arts Academy students took a moment to shine, dazzling the audience with solo performances on piano, guitar, and percussion.
Our Early Childhood Nativity play depicts the story of Jesus’ birth, as portrayed by our EC3 and EC4-year-olds. They sang Christmas songs, and everyone danced together! These Christmas programs not only offered families a glimpse into our students' musical education this semester but, more importantly, served as a heartfelt preparation of our hearts for the Christmas season—a celebration of the miraculous birth of Jesus.
