Upper School Retreat
Fall 2022
Our Upper School students have traditionally gone on an overnight retreat the first two days of school to bond after the summer break, reset before the business of school rigors set in and get to know new students.
Over the last couple of years, this tradition has been put on hold due to Covid concerns. We are thankful to have been able to bring back this tradition and take our students to Camp Chaparral. Our intentional and caring teachers and staff planned and chaperoned the retreat. We even started a new tradition of sorting Upper School students into color teams for retreat games and year-long competitions.
The retreat was all we hoped it would be for our Jr. High and Sr. High students, and they had a great time growing closer together, competing, worshipping, zip lining, playing laser tag, swimming in the lake, and much more. Below are some snapshots of a fun-filled 24 hours in the life of our students.
