Coach Lindemann’s Next move

5 time state championship legacy carries on

Last week, Athletic Director, Head Coach, and Mom, Sara Lindemann led her team to their third consecutive 1A State Championship title, her fifth overall since returning to CA in 2012. Sara is known for her elite coaching style, energy, and champion-building program. She takes athletes and non-athletes alike and develops them into high caliber competitors. She invests in the lives of her students, and the results speak for themselves.

She isn’t going anywhere. Sara will continue to be CA’s Athletic Director, guiding the entire Athletic Program for the school, which has proven to be successful, earning 25 State Championship titles under her direction. Sara is always coaching with a growth mindset for her players and Christ Academy. With this in view, Sara has decided to take her coaching skills down to the Junior High level at CA to continue developing the pipeline of champions.

I care deeply about this program and want to cultivate the pipeline, so dropping down to coach Junior High feels like the next right move to continue growing the entire Athletic Program at CA.
— Sara Lindemann, Head Coach + AD

Her vision is to gain more time for her role as Athletic Director, allowing her to cultivate growth in the Athletic Department. This decision was not made lightly but was considered over a long period of time after looking at the skill the next Varsity team has to offer, the Junior High program, and what’s best for her own family.

She is currently in talks with a potential new Head Coach for the Varsity Lady Warriors program. The new candidate has big shoes to fill and will be an extension of Sara’s coaching philosophy, while maintaining the foundation that’s been set. According to the latest Times Record News article, the Lady Warrior dynasty will carry on.

We hope you’ll join us in congratulating her on all her success and support the positive direction our Athletic Program is taking.

By changing my coaching role, I will have even more time to promote Christ Academy Athletics in the community and provide opportunities for both mens’ and women’s programs to flourish.
