Reset Week 2025 Recap

Every January, Christ Academy students come back from the Christmas break for a week of worship, community, and time dedicated to resetting our minds on Christ, a week we call Reset Week. This week stems from Romans 12:2, “Do not be conformed o this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that by testing you may know what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Reset Week 2025 brought students from every grade together to explore the theme of emotions through the lens of the movie Inside Out. God made every part of us. No matter how we are feeling, when we abide in Him, we can experience JOY as well as the rest of the Fruit of the Spirit in all circumstances.

We began each day with everyone’s favorite - all-school chapel, where the Jr. High theatre club performed skits to introduce the emotion of the day. These performances set the stage for Bible stories, crafts, and other activities, helping students apply the themes to their daily lives.
Meanwhile, Senior High students took their learning beyond the classroom by volunteering at the local food bank. They sorted donations and gained a deeper understanding of how this vital resource supports the community. On Friday, January 17, they’ll return to deliver canned goods collected during the school-wide food drive and serve again.
One of the highlights of Reset Week was seeing older Warriors pour into the lives of younger students. These cross-campus interactions created meaningful moments of mentorship and connection, reinforcing the sense of community that defines our school.
Although snow shortened the week, we made sure to wrap up once we were back together, ensuring every student had the chance to reflect on God’s promises and the purpose behind their emotions.
Our canned food drive continues through this week, so don’t miss the opportunity to support our students as they serve their neighbors and live out what they’ve learned during Reset Week.
