Early Childhood Thanksgiving Play

In the spirit of gratitude, our Early Childhood division celebrated Thanksgiving with its cherished annual play, a heartwarming production that shares the history of the first Thanksgiving. Last Thursday, our EC3 and EC4 students took center stage, delighting an audience of friends and family with their storytelling and charm.

Led by our wonderful teachers, including the ever-talented Mrs. Hansen, the music teacher, and Mr. Ginnings, the guitar teacher, the students brought the story to life with enthusiasm and creativity. This year’s performance featured a delightful selection of new songs that showcased their growing musical talents and added a fresh twist to the tradition.

And can we talk about the "Turkey Strut" finale? Parents, grandparents, siblings, and friends joined the fun, transforming the stage into a lively dance party! This joyful tradition has become a hallmark of Thanksgiving in our Early Childhood program, leaving smiles and cherished memories year after year.

Following the play, our families gathered to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal together, reviving a beloved tradition in the EC department. Sharing food and fellowship brought a sense of togetherness and created lasting community memories, reminding us all of the many reasons we have to be thankful.
