Cross-Country Team off to a Promising 2021 Season “We hit the ground running on Thursday, September 2, at Burkburnett High School’s CC Jamboree cross country meet. With less than half of our team present at the start due to unfortunate circumstances, we did see honorable performances of our athletes. Cooper Tryer kicked it off with his debut in high school jr varsity competition and he got right into the top 20! He finished 17th, won a medal, and placed 4th in his age group! Caleb Ross made a fast start in the 1A-4A Varsity competition and was able to keep it up, significantly improving his personal best time. He got 18th and won a medal by finishing top 20. Ben Ross had to deal with severe stomach ache within the first mile and I would have been okay with him sitting this one out. But Ben being Ben, his perseverance and stubbornness prevailed and he completed the full 3.2-mile race. Congratulations to our boys and seeing these results, one can only anticipate a promising season with Cooper, Brice, Truett, Ben, Caleb, Alex, and Austin.” — Coach Casteleyn Brooke ClarkSeptember 8, 2021Christ Academy Facebook0 Twitter Reddit Pinterest0 0 Likes
