K-5 Christmas Programs 2024
Celebrating Jesus through Music
The Christmas season is a time of joy, celebration, and reflection on the birth of Jesus. This year at Christ Academy, our Lower School embraced the spirit of the season with two unique Christmas programs, each tailored to showcase the talents and creativity of our students while honoring the true meaning of Christmas.
Our Kindergarten-Grade 2 and Grades 3-5 students delivered heartwarming evening performances filled with Christmas carols, instruments, and props. In the K-2 program, students impressed the audience with their speaking parts and the use of musical instruments in their songs.
The Grades 3-5 program featured a truly memorable moment as the fifth-grade students recited the entire Night Before Christmas story in unison—it was amazing! Another key moment was the incorporation of The German School students to our program, and our CA students singing “O Tannenbaum” in German and English alongside their German School friends.
This year, we also introduced ukulele to our Visual + Performing Arts (VPA) offerings, further enriching our students’ musical experiences. The VPA Academy students captivated the audience with solo performances on piano, guitar, percussion, and now ukulele, showcasing their incredible skills and hard work.
Christmas at Christ Academy is a time to celebrate the true meaning of the season, and this year’s performances were a beautiful reflection of our mission to make Jesus the foundation of all we do.
