Camp Stonelake
Safe, Clean Fun
Christ Academy’s Camp Stonelake goal is to keep campers safe and engaged this summer. We are committed to taking the necessary precautions for the health and safety of our campers, counselors and volunteers. We know that our campers and staff are excited camp has started!
Rest assured we are cleaning and screening daily, so that our campers and staff can be together, celebrate summer and feel the JOY of Camp Stonelake in a healthy, clean environment. For your review, the state of Texas has issued the following guidance for families that have children attending summer camps here. We have implemented the following policies and procedures based on the guidelines presented by the Governor’s task force including:
• Campers and Counselors will have their temperatures checked daily.
• Groups will stay with their age group (no large group mixing).
• All equipment will be disinfected daily including stations, toys, manipulatives, playground equipment and sports equipment.
• All campers and counselors will be trained on proper hand-washing and guidelines to protect them from Covid-19.
• Field trips will not occur except for limited park days.
• Parents will not be able to enter the facility and will adhere to the drop-off/ pickup policies discussed at parent orientation.
• Quarantine of 14 days will be instated if a child has come in contact with Covid-19.
• Any child who gets ill during the day will be isolated in the front office conference room until a parent can come to pick up to ensure limited contact.

Electrostatic Sprayer
Christ Academy is also using a Victory Professional Cordless Electrostatic Hand Held Sprayer to ensure that campers, and students when the school year begins in August, stay healthy. The innovative device works by charging liquids (i.e., cleaners, sanitizers, and disinfectants) as they pass through the sprayer nozzle. This generates charged droplets that repel one another and actively seek out environmental surfaces, which they stick to and even wrap around to coat all sides. The result is a uniform coating of disinfectant on sprayed objects, including hard-to-reach areas that manual cleaning can miss.
