2024 Athletic Banquet Celebrates Student Athletes
Athletes who received the Three D Award for determination, dedication, and discipline, playing three or more sports this school year.
Jr. High + Sr. High Athletes recognized
Tuesday, May 7, 2024, the CA Booster Club held its annual Athletic Banquet, a night of recognition for our student-athletes and all their hard work throughout the year. Students and their families enjoyed dinner provided by Open Table and were honored by their coaches for their hard work, discipline, and determination throughout the year for their participation in our school sports: volleyball, basketball, tennis, track, cross country, cheer, and golf.
Congratulations to Bradyn Clarke who was awarded this year’s Booster Club Scholarship, an award voted on by the CA Booster Club Board. Bradyn met and exceeded the requirements to receive this award, including participating in CA Athletics for as long as he's been in Christ Academy’s Upper School, as well as for his hard work and dedication in all he does.
The winners of the Heart of a Warrior Award went to Austin McCollum in Junior High, and Riley Reneau in Senior High. These student athletes have proven their perseverance, positive attitude, and determination to athletics, and they represent CA well on and off the court. They are role models in the classrooms, and they put in hard work, even when no one is watching. Way to go, Warriors!
A new award was announced at this year’s banquet. The Spirit of Sport Award was created to honor a 6th grade student who, throughout the school year, demonstrated a willingness to learn and grow and maintained a composure of determination, humility, and positivity in competition. This year’s inaugural Spirit of Sport award went to Neely Henry. Congratulations to this wonderful example of a Lady Warrior!
