Christ Academy has to prepare early for the following school year.  It is necessary to know who will be returning to CA in order to plan for staffing, curriculum, and materials to ensure the highest quality education for our students. To get a sense of who will be returning for the following school year, in February we open the “opt-out” time period for parents to let us know of their plans.

Dear Christ Academy Family,

Christ Academy has adopted a Continuous Enrollment (CE) system whereby students will be continuously enrolled at Christ Academy until graduation from CA, or, if necessary, until the CA withdrawal process is completed. As long as students are in good standing, they never have to re-enroll. We are thankful that the vast majority of Christ Academy families choose to remain at CA.

If you are planning on returning you need to do nothing; your seat is guaranteed! You will be billed a $50 per student administrative fee to update records, create schedules, etc. If you intend to unenroll your student for the Fall of 2020, you must inform Dena Truette that you are “opting-out” by February 28, 2020. Christ Academy opens enrollment to new families March 2, 2020. Failure to inform the school by February 28 that your student will not be attending Christ Academy next year and that you are “opting out” of enrollment will result in a $750 cancellation fee per student.

We understand that many families factor in the amount of financial assistance they need to make the best-informed decision. In order to streamline our processes and provide our existing families priority access to the funding available for the 2020-2021 school year, we are opening applications for financial aid for current students effective immediately. We will expedite the processing for applications submitted to FAST by February 12, 2020, and respond expeditiously with offers of approved financial aid.

It is imperative that families requesting assistance submit their information as soon as possible. Christ Academy will be allocating the majority of the available funds for financial aid during this round and cannot predict how much will remain after this round of offers.

Families that complete the financial aid application and qualify for assistance by February 12, 2020, will have offers of financial aid prior to the Opt-Out deadline and have priority access to the available funds.

Respectfully,

Jerry M. Meadows, CEO
