Christ Academy Offers Dual-Credit Classes through Vernon College

Christ Academy Senior High students can take dual-credit classes through Vernon College.  While dual credit in high school has many advantages, it is serious business and should be considered by each student, their parents and discussed with Mrs. Meadows, Christ Academy’s Director of Counseling, before registration.

Students are seen as college students, not high school students, and earn a college transcript that follows them through college and impacts their future.  And, for federal financial aid, students must maintain a 2.0 GPA, and dual-credit college courses count in that calculation.

Students are required to attend classes at Vernon and are responsible for their own transportation and costs.
