Grade 1 was challenged by their teacher, Mrs. Barnes, to complete 100 acts of kindness between February 1 and February 14th and ended up completing 110!
Every act of kindness the children completed was recorded and displayed on the Acts of Kindness board. Each act was individual which eliminated any duplicated acts. The acts of kindness ranged from unclogging the kitchen sink to setting the table.
At Christ Academy teaching these simple acts instills the value of kindness in each child and helps develop their soft skills, or their personal attributes that enables them to interact effectively and harmoniously with other people.
